uncertain

I just figured out, after being so dumb and lazy, how to upload the pics from our Droids to iPhoto!  I am so excited! Because of this recent discovery, I'm posting pics of Avery's room!  My dear cousin, Alyssa came a few weeks ago and we had a delightful time while she sewed the bedding for me.  I had picked out the fabric literally the weekend before I went into the hospital, so I was super happy and grateful to Alyssa for coming and sewing it for me!  She is a doll.  We had such a grand time watching Newsies and Seven Brides while singing along and chatting it up.
Isn't it just so cute?

I love how it turned out!

I got this changing table for 15$ at a yard sale! Yeah. Go me!  I seriously LOVE IT!

I feel so weird because we just don't know when Baby Avery will be coming.  Today we hit the "one month to Avery's due date" day! YAY!  We have a doctors appointment tomorrow and they will tell us officially (i hope) when I can get off of bed rest.  We were told 2 weeks ago that I'd be off in 2 1/2 weeks so....hopefully good news!

Just so everyone is clear, December 3rd is one month before January 3rd.

Do you even know how much stuff is between now and January 3rd!!?

We have Christmas parties (like 3), Finals, Christmas, New Years, Adam coming home, Adam's welcome home speech.  Oh, I have to buy Christmas presents for Jacob and the parentals, send Christmas cards out, do our neighbor gifts, have VT assignments to do (I got a new calling it's RS VT Coordinator's Assistant:)...see Elder Irying's talk from RS Oct. 2012).  Thankfully, I've been able to do most of the planning for all of these things.  As soon as I get off bed rest and can drive myself around...it will all come together I'm sure.

Random Tangent about my calling: I actually really love being so involved in our ward.  I feel like a missionary, there is so much work to do.  VT has been lower than 45% for an entire year.  In November we reached 76%!! So awesome!  We have so much to do because the new RS President moved into the ward in July 2012, and both the coordinator and myself moved in August 2012...basically that means that none of us know many people in the ward and are finding out so many people who have moved, are LA, CRAZY situations, etc.  Just like missionary work.  I can't do as much because I am confined to mi casa, but we've had to basically reorganize the entire VTsupervisors because 6 out of the 8 ladies moved away in August.  We got called in October and the previous Presidency hadn't really done much to get callings issued because they knew they were being released...it's been crazy and wonderful!

I"ll get some pictures of our Christmas Decorations up now that I know how to do it!  :)  Next post.  Promise.  Our house looks so festive and I love just sitting in our living room with only the Christmas tree lights on.  I also love reading our Scripture Advent every night.  I made it last Christmas and we read a scripture about the Savior every night before bed.  It really brings the Spirit, which is a wonderful touch this time of year.

So many wonderful things are happening and every one of the them is exciting.  I just wish I could tell Baby Avery when to come so we could solidify some of our plans a little more.  I know, I know, it doesn't work that way, but still...couldn't Heavenly Father make just one exception?! haha.  But, I just had a thought, we will look back at this Christmas as a very special one with just our cute, new little family and it will be precious. (if we have her by then that is...)
