Off bed rest!

Yes, it's true!  This week I had a doctors appointment and he said everything is looking great and that I could come off bed rest!  So happy! 

I've been busy doing all the things that I planned to do while I was down for a month.  It's been great! We're thinking I should kinda keep low until after finals are over (which is this next week btw) and then I can really start moving more to see if she'll come.  :) 

Jake is so cute and excited for her to come!  He said the other night that he misses her.  He is going to be a great dad.  

I had a baby shower the other night that my mom and sisters threw for me.  It was so fun to have a bunch of my friends over and I got to see people that I haven't for so long.  I felt so loved and Avery Mae is so loved already!  It also made me realize for real...that this baby is coming soon and I'm going to be a mom.  weird.  and so exciting! 

Today I went to Walmart (HORRIBLE idea on a Saturday in December might I add) and got a bunch of last minute baby stuff.  I also went to the library and checked out a few books to get me ready.  Hopefully, we'll be prepared for her.  

We're headed to the temple tonight and I'm looking forward to that so much!  I haven't been for so long, it will feel great to get there.  

Well, hope that you all are keeping the Christmas spirit alive in your homes and not getting too overwhelmed with buying presents.  It's hard to do, but this year we cut back and I'm not feeling any of that rush rush hurry hurry to get presents for everyone.  It feels great!

Our Christmas Advent! 

Our one and only Manger Scene.  It's from my Grandparents when they went to Ghana.  They have so many manger scenes in their house.  Before they moved (a couple years ago) we counted and I think the total was above 30!  Because of that, I think, I love manger scenes so much!  I love seeing them from all around the world and I want to have so many in my house "when I grow up".  I want to start collecting them now though!
