busy busy time

Ok,

Avery is 6.5 months old. She is the joy of my life and I seriously love being her momma!  I literally find so much happiness in her.
Here's what she's doing:
grabbing onto everything, especially noses, glasses and the hairs on the back of my neck
She seriously smiles every time I say "HI" in a high voice
kicks kicks kicks
she has stopped drooling like a mad women, thank goodness!
She LOVES swimming! Seriously, like she played in the blow up pool we got her for an hour and a half! we were both raisins :)
peek a boo
Her daddy
loves to look outside
She is intrigued with water bottles and the noise they make when she plays with them
She's liking her swing a ton right now
She loooved solid food, but her belly didn't.  :( Hilarious actually!
She's such a happy girl most of the time (I say most bc she cries when she's tired, but don't all babies?) and such a pleasure to have around.  I know she wont remember this time, but it is so fun to do everything together and to just love her so much! I know I won't have time like this with any of our other future children so I am trying to just soak it up so much right now!

She's not been sleeping well at night for like the past month, and it is hard to figure out why.  We tried getting an ac to cool off her room (helped), feeding her solids (didn't help so we stopped that for a while.  I'm thinking I will start back up bc she really loved eating food but her poor belly had a hard time digesting it all), ear infections, traveling and not being on a schedule, so who knows.  I finally broke down and let her sleep in her swing at night.  AHHH!  I said I'd never do that, but seriously.  I need sleep too! Thank goodness that's working right now so I need to try having her sleep in her crib again at night.

We went to Idaho Falls for the 4th! It was her first fireworks and first boat ride.  She HATED the life jacket, but eventually consigned herself to it.  It was so great to be up with family and to celebrate the 4th.  I'll post pictures.

We Sun Valley and the Cabin in about 2 weeks so that is exciting to look forward too.  So great!

Also, I have the information on her growth from her 6 month appointment, so I actually don't know where that paper is right now, but this is what I can remember:
Head: 11%
Weight: 14.5 lbs.
Length: 26 inches
I wish I could find that paper so I could record the percentile, but oh well!
