I just had to post about our weekend today because it was amazing!
We didn't have anything planned, except Jake working and studying. It was nice to just have a relaxing weekend spent together. Friday night we cooked curry and then went to the library and got a few books to read together while we are in the car the next few weeks. Then we went and got a snow cone after a very short walk in the park (note: best snow cone ever is orange, guava, and passion fruit). We came home, put Avery Mae to bed then watched Les Mis in bed. It was awesome! (we could skip whatever parts we wanted so it really was so good without any gross!)
Then on Saturday Avery and I had a relaxing morning and went on a walk while Jacob was at work. He called me and said he wanted to go to the temple and bc of recent ER events with our sweet baby (more later) I wanted my family to watch her. Well, we went up to Bountiful...did sealings while baby girl was at home with the family. Then we went swimming with Sarah and Katie and spent a relaxing night up at my parents home enjoying good conversation and food; delish grilled salmon was served! We drove home with a beautiful sunset, summer music blaring, windows down and Avery asleep in the back seat. It was awesome!
I love how my best friend is also my husband and father to my baby. It's so awesome and I feel so blessed. I was grateful too that Jake decided not to study :) haha. I need to help him to do it though bc he takes the GRE in basically a month.
