Love.

Hi, I find that most times I want to blog is when my heart is full of love. Thus, I will write about love. Sorry for the repetitive theme here but oh well.

So I am extremely excited about Christmas this year! I just bought Jake a present and put it in a cute Christmas bag and I am so excited to spend our first Christmas together. YAY!

I also watched this amazing video about a man who has forgiven so much! This is what Christmas is all about- the forgiving and unconditional love that Jesus and Heavenly Father have for us. Heavenly Father loves us so much He allowed His Son come to earth. The Savior loves us so much that he suffered EVERYTHING for us. If we can just turn to them and do things their way, we will have peace and JOY admits the trials.

God and Jesus can help us become great like this man, Chris Williams, has done. If you haven't seen it, and even if you have, watch this little 8 min. video on youtube and feel of God's love. Maybe even ask yourself how you can be more like our Savior! I know that it made me think about what I can do with our Saviors strength.

When trials come, I don't want to be weak. I want to be strong. I want to dig in my heels and be even more determined to do what the Lord wants me to. I want to have faith and have be "aled by the Spirit, not bknowing beforehand the things which I should do". (1 Nephi 4:6). It is scary at first to be led in this way by the Lord because we truly have to trust Him so much. But as we continue down the path he shows us, we feel the Spirit confirm to our hearts that we made the right choice and everything will be ok.

Today I didn't go to work and instead went to the BYU Devotional with Jake. hehe. President Monson was the speaker, what do you expect me to do?!! :) He talked about faith and how faith and doubt can't dwell within one person at the same time. We have to chose.

And I CHOSE FAITH!

  1. Hey, the title of the blog is "Lovin' Life" so I wouldn't expect anything different. ;) Love you! Thanks for your testimony! You're the best!
