Remember that Memorial Day?

Two years ago, Jake and I got engaged on Memorial Day!!...so not officially exactly two years ago, but two years ago according to the holiday.

 I am so grateful for him and all the hard work he puts into every thing that he is doing right now. I honestly don't know how he fits in time for us, but he does and i just cherish every moment we can be together with our little family!  He loves us so much and I am so grateful for his righteous leadership in our family.  He inspires me to be better and I am so glad that I said yes two years ago!

How things have changed.  But all changes for the better.  Jake and I are so close; we have a great marriage and we are so happy! Our little Avery brings so much joy to us! Sometimes we just look at each other and laugh saying "we have a little baby girl!" It's still so hard to believe sometimes.  We have had some hard times and some stressful times along the way of our two years together, but those times have honestly brought us closer to each other and the Lord.  We trust that He will lead us to where we need to be and what we need to be doing.

I know the Lord watches over us and will lead us along our life's journey, whatever and wherever that may be.  I am so grateful for all my blessings and look forward with faith to the future.  Also, on this Memorial Day, I am grateful for my family and the wonderful heritage I have.  My family means the world to me and and I know I am who I am today because of all the amazing people who have gone before.  I also am so grateful for all the pioneers and people who have created this place for the Church to thrive.  Their sacrifices are incalculable and we owe them so much!
