Not that I have any followers or readers of this blog, but I have been clearly terrible at updating this and now it time to repent!
A LOT has happened in that six months (ouch) since I've blogged, but I am going to ignore it all until this weekend when I can update more. Also, my phone will not upload pictures onto my computer so I am blaming that inconvenience as to why I haven't blogged. I literally have pictures since May on my phone just waiting to upload- talk about annoying but I just wanted to capture Avery and Lyla quickly.
Avery! Woke up this morning singing "It's a jolly holiday with you Bert! Happiness is blooming all around you! The daffodils are smiling at the sun. When Mary holds your hand you feel so grand" Basically melted my heart because I love Mary Poppins. She is super into Cinderella and tells me her favorite part of the new live-action one is when "she is crying in the garden" and then the "fairy godmother comes and turns her dress from pink to blue" and gives impressive detail. haha! She is very excited for Halloween to be able to dress up like Cinderella. I had to hide her costume. She is a great little helper! Loves to empty the silverware, cut zucchini for our soup, makes sure Lyla doesn't go by the stairs. She loves Lyla and tackles her sometimes too rough but we are working on being gentle and hugging around Lyla's chest or tummy not her neck. Everything is princess and sparkles for this little angel right now and I love seeing her twirl and be so happy when she wears her dresses or just dances.
Lyla! Has bloomed into a little one year old. She is seriously adorable! Is pretty much walking (the past three weeks or so have really been crazy with her walking development), likes to carry things that are way to big for her so she falls down, loves dogs, loves Avery. Says Dada with the hugest smile- I will try to upload an adorable video! Is a master stair climber (up and down- which is impressive to me) and its' so cute to see her turning around and going down backwards. Loves her baths...loves Avery's little potty and I have to constantly make sure it is out of reach otherwise she will be trying to sit on it or put her hands in the potty. haha. She is very content and chill. She is calling me away now so I will go!
Hey, I'm still here! Fun to read the update. Your girls are so cute and you're such a great mom! Love you!
