sooo...

Talk about a busy summer and life. HAHA!

We are officially in Virginia! Richmond VA to be exact and we have been here for about 6 weeks.

So far we are really enjoying this time together and have been exploring the area and are pretty much loving it.   Jake likes his school and I am really enjoying this time with Avery before baby comes. She is such a little doll! She is almost 21 months and I can't believe it! Avery has grown up so much even in the past 6 weeks! She is talking so much, has a ton of blonde curly hair, can say prayers with us (melts my heart), loves playing and reading books by herself, loves to roughhouse on our new bean bag, loves scriptures and is obsessed with Frozen! We took her to Frozen on Ice last week and she loved every second of it!

I am 37 weeks along now with Baby #2 so she could be coming very soon!  We've made good friends here already so we feel supported even though we are so far away from family.  I am sure we will be fine once she comes, though I am nervous about it as well.  We have a name picked out for her...Lyla Jane Taylor! We are excited to welcome her to our family! So happy!

It was a huge pain getting insurance and doctors worked out once we got here but it finally worked out and I feel confident and ready as much as I think I can be for our new little addition.

I can't believe I have done such a terrible job in blogging about our life this summer, but I will do a massive picture update and call it good.  (My computer has been having issues and I had to get it fixed and a new hard drive so I haven't had it for a while and I currently don't have pictures on it right now otherwise this would be the massive picture post.  And yes, I lost quite a few of my pictures from the past 5 years, which was seriously tragic! I am so sad!)

I really want to get caught up with blogging before baby gets here so it can be all about her once she arrives.  I will try to post several times a week now that we are out here and away from family.

Exciting changes for us right now, but we feel prepared and strengthened by the Lord so I'm sure all will be well.
