I love life right now! It is seriously amazing! It is a lot of work taking care of the new Babes, but we love it and it is so fulfilling! This is what life should be! I am so grateful for all my blessings: a WONDERFUL husband who loves me and works so hard for our family, a beautiful little baby girl who is so much fun, the gospel, a supportive extended family on all sides, friends who love and want to help us, an awesome apartment, a great ward/calling, attentive home teachers...the list goes on and on. AWESOME!
This Valentines Day I was just feeling so much love for everyone and especially my little family. Being a mom is great and Little Avery truly is the joy of our lives. It is great!

It started out at 4:00 am when I got up to feed little Miss Avery. Jake LOVES these Lion House Muffins that come in a mix so I had gotten some earlier in the week and had planned on making them for breakfast for him....

So after Avery was asleep, I baked some muffins in these cute little heart shaped cupcake holders and had them waiting for him when he woke up early to go to work. I had gone back to bed by that time so it was a nice little surprise for him. Of course he LOVED it and it started the day out great! Jake was able to come home early from work (with roses and a card for me, so sweet) and we got to enjoy our muffins together :) Then he cleaned up the house while I fed Avery again and it was great to just have the time together.
Jake had arranged with someone he works with at the MTC to babysit for us for a few hours. She got here around 5:15 and we decided to go out to eat. India Palace it was! WE LOVE INDIAN FOOD! Then Jake had a surprise...the Nickelcade! haha! We had our first date at the Nickelcade and so in fitting tribute to us, we went back together and had so much fun with 8$ of nickels. Yes, we originally bought 5$, but sometimes you just can't say no...
We came home and watched Remember the Titans! WONDERFUL day. I am so grateful to be married to my best friend! Love you Jacob!
